Want To Blog?
February 21, 2007

Blogging is one of the easiest and fastest ways to have a web presence. As a business owner, designer or retail colleague, you have plenty of experience and stories to share with others. You can help build a community and create brand interest by engaging people who come to your web site and/or blog. People love to form a connection, and having a voice they can relate with helps them subconsciously bond with you. Which means, they're bonding with you, your store, and your company.

Expert blogs play an important role in attracting new customers and maintaining involvement with interested customers. Company blogs can be extremely effective in providing expertise and up-to-date information to an interactive base. And blogging is easier than you think, thanks to the numerous tools out there to help you launch a blog in minutes.

Here are a couple to help get you online ASAP. Link the blog you create off your current web site, send out the link as a newsletter of interest to your email list, and discuss trends, how to decorate, what people are buying, etc.

Technorati, is a blog-monitoring service/directory that tracks millions of blogs. You can find a blog on just about any topic imaginable: politics, media, specific professions, business, etc.

If you already have a blog and want to tell me about it, or you just created one and want to share it, send it to me and I'll help promote it in my blog.

Happy blogging.
