  3. Send out coupons via email for shopping in your store and on your web site. You can use a company like www.constantcontact.com or www.worldmerge.com and create online coupons for printing out for use in store (helps to measure web traffic).
  4. Send out your eCatalog instead of print catalog – encourage buying online.
  5. Start a Blog on your web site and send it out to your database – tips, features, decorating styles, gift ideas, etc. Encourage others to respond.
  6. Advertising on other web sites (banner ads, text ads, etc.).
  7. Paid online advertising – try inexpensive geo-targeted paid advertising available from Yahoo, MSN and Google.
  8. Consider retaining an outside firm on a pay-for-performance basis to improve your search engine results.
  9. Build online loyalty programs through emotional connections:describe why someone bought a certain product, provide testimonials about design tips, or create a discussion group about baby tips, offer coupons for new moms, etc.
  10. Start a gift registry online if you do not have one.
