Excellent Email Campaigns To Steal

I think the best way to show success is by example. MarketingSherpa's 2007 email awards are in and they list the winners in 10 categories, with prizes being awarded to both B2B and B2C campaigns. The judges selected entries that (1) had above-average campaign results, (2) used best practices and (3) had good creative.

Best Promotional Blast -- Direct Sale or Lead Generation Offer


Best Single Welcome Letter (to New Subscribers)

Best Automated Series (Auto Responder)

Best Triggered Personalized Email

Best Postcard-Style Campaign

Best (or Most Dramatic) Test you Learned From (yes, these "failed")

Best Non-Email Opt-in Messaging
