Ask An Expert to Keep Them Coming Back
July 2, 2007

One of the best and easiest ways to keep customers coming back to your web site is to have an "Ask the Expert" section.  This offers them free and valuable expert advice, as well as providing answers to questions they cannot find elsewhere.  Customers scour web sites looking for ideas, answers, possibilities and insights, and offering them the information they crave will keep loyal customers on your site. Plus it is a powerful community builder.
There are 3 ways to produce this:

  1. Email: On your site, have a section where you post questions and your answers.  People click on a link to your email address and send you a question.  You post it and answer it on your web site.
  2. Using a blogging tool - either free or fee - and they can post questions instantly.
  3. Use question-and-answer software.
