Five Ways to Make Your Employees Love You

- Free Food. Keeping free sodas, water, and snacks in the break room are proven to work.
- Celebrate. Party together not just during the holidays but a couple times a year. Invite the staff to a local corporate hang out for dinner and drinks.
- Take care of who they love. Don't forget to pamper spouses and partners too. When I take my number one seller out to dinner for his birthday I always invite his partner too.
- Keep the caffeine going. Throw out the cheap coffee maker and invest in a high-end espresso machine and some of their favorite brands of coffee.
- Pay for a random day. Every employee loves a day off, especially if it's not on the schedule. Declare a paid day off when they least expect it.
