  2. Toll-free numbers boost consumer confidence. Consumers assume that businesses with toll-free numbers are larger and more stable than their competitors, therefore increasing business credibility.
  3. A toll-free number shows better customer support and more respect for customer needs.
  4. A toll-free number allows you to move your business wherever you want without needing to change your number each time.

Yes I believe every business should have an 800 number. They don't have to be expensive, either. I found a list of several affordable 800 number providers at www.besttollfree800numbers.com

You can get your number for $9.95 one time charge but you have to find your own carrier. The good news is you own the number (not shared use).

I would agree that every business should have a toll-free number. However I think that the most effective of any toll-free number is the Vanity Number. The Vanity Number has a consumer recall rate that is nine times higher than your average numeric toll-free. So if you are going toll-free anyways, why not go the extra mile for your customer and make it a Vanity Number
