Do You Celebrate Your Staff’s Success?
November 29, 2007

When is the last time you celebrated an employee’s big sale? As a small business owner sometimes I tend to focus more often on what isn’t working—I lay awake at night in bed replaying sales that weren’t closed. Many times I come in the morning and talk it through with the sales associate—talking about what we could do different next time. Talking this through really helps them to learn and grow as a Diamond and Jewelry Consultant. Though this is very important—sometimes I forget to celebrate succession. Recognizing success—within reason, helps motivated staff members stay that way. Do you make your employees feel like winners? Remember, those that feel like winners tend to continue the success.
