Show Them You Care
March 15, 2007
Every business needs a constant flow of new ideas in order to survive and thrive in today’s demanding market. With that said, here are 5 ideas to show your customers you care.
- Eminger Berries. The highest tier of luxury dessert creations…stuffed strawberries (life couldn’t get any better). Any customer who splurges $500 or more on your products promise to send their special someone a package of these delicious creations with the gift they purchased.
- Wine Gift Club, San Diego Wine and Culinary Center, and Su Vino Winery offer custom label wine. Mail a bottle to some of your best customers…maybe on their birthday or anniversary.
- Go Postal. Having a grand opening or wanting to promote your own website. Create your own legal stamps with pictures of your store, your staff, your logo, your web address, and more. Use them on store mail and send a sheet of stamps to your regular clients as a practical gift. Upload an image to the site, crop it, pay, and the stamps will arrive within a week.
- Lobster Anywhere. There are plenty of workaholics who just can’t get away but find just enough time to stop and shop at your store. Offer them a fresh seafood dinner overnight. Help them make their event and gift even more special.
- Meebo. Want to communicate with your customers better? Meebo has a new instant messaging service that allows you to “see” and instantly communicate with any visitors to your web page. Visitors can also see when you’re online and initiate chats with you.
