Sharing Business Processes
April 13, 2007

Many small business owners communicate and share only good things to others in their industry. As difficult as it may be, communicating both good news and bad news is critical.

Communicating poorly executed strategies for customer acquisition, commercial ads, employee retention, etc allows veterans in the industry to assist you and offer suggestions on how to turn the situation around so that it ultimately becomes good news. Sharing news on business processes with ways to solve problems gets the ball rolling, but remember to stay open-minded to partners, family, and friends suggestions as well, as they are likely people who have helped drive success for your business or even people are who interested in your product.

Your business associates will respect you more for initiating a conversation about a difficult situation then to pretend that your business is always on top of the world. After all, no company in the world always has good news.
