Billboard Advertising in a Nutshell
September 27, 2008

Places for billboard advertising:

Various sizes of billboards posted along side streets, highways and superhighways

Appropriate for:

Almost any business, large or small, but particularly workable for businesses with a broad customer base. A newspaper ad is only good for a day and a television commercial only lasts about thirty seconds. But a billboard ad is working for you twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

Typical costs:

The cost of billboard advertising ranges from about $700 to $5,000 a month. That sounds like a lot of money, until you realize that a full-page ad running for one day in a major newspaper costs about the same.
