Providing Security and Making a Difference
December 27, 2007

Today I will address the remaining two ways to influence generations of offspring: giving to charity and providing financially for family.

There are thousands and thousands of worthwhile causes around the globe who depend upon charitable giving. Giving to charity could be accomplished either through volunteering your time or through financial gifts. Your contribution to worthy causes such as finding a cure for cancer or diabetes, could influence thousands of lives. Those of you who have been blessed financially have a unique opportunity to impact future generations by giving back to the community. Here are a few ways you could influence the lives of others:

  1. Donor Advised Fund
  2. Private Foundation
  3. Charitable Trust

Providing financially for family could be another way to influence generations of offspring. Many of the families I encounter across the country share a common goal: to provide the means for their children and grandchildren to obtain an education. Other clients have a desire to help their children purchase a first home or help them start a business. These are worthwhile goals and objectives that could benefit not only the child or grandchild but also the lives of countless others they may come in contact with. How will you and your business influence those around you?
