Top Ten New Years Resolutions for Salespeople!

December 31, 2008 As we enter a new year, I thought it appropriate to reflect on the past and look toward the future in regards to our business lives as salespeople. Therefore, I thought I would share with you my top ten resolutions for salespeople. I hope that you enjoy them and make them your own.

1) I will set goals and constantly work to improve my productivity.

2) I will strive to develop a personal trade relationship with all customers.

3) I will deliver the finest customer service possible.

4) I will attempt to close every sale once merchandise has been shown.

5) I will attempt to add-on to every customer in a non-pushy and aggressive manner.

6) I will work to increase my knowledge in sales techniques, product knowledge, customer service, and operational skills.

7) I will be part of the solution rather than part of the problem.

8) I will look at my job as building a business within a business and look for opportunities to grow the business.

9) I will take responsibility for my own success.

10) I will treat my customers, co-workers and supervisors with respect and dignity, as I want to be treated.

I hope you all have a very happy & prosperous New Year.
