Peeve of the Week: Ego

January 8, 2009 Oy, I cant’ stand them.  There is nothing more obnoxious and harder to work with than an out-of-whack ego.   They have an incessant need to prove things, they’re “in your face,” they need far too much attention, they make other people feel crummy and they can suck the life out of a room like nobody’s business.  In other words, they are a lot of work, and for what?  I’ve yet to come up with anything positive.

Why is that everyone hates an ego when it is somebody else’s but can never seem to see his or her own?  Hmmm.
